Tuesday Outing

 Navi is a bit under the weather and so is the weather. But it was not too cold to hit the beach.

 Ada has been wanting to go to the beach for a few days now. Navi's medicine had just taken effect so he was feeling okay.

On the way home there was a stop at the Palace of Fine Arts for a quick walk, sporting their new sweaters.

Once back home, Navi refused food! He just wanted to lay down. Feel better Navi.

Pick-Up

 When Ada was asked if she was ready to go home she did her 'I'm displeased and I'm showing you,' stance. The answer was "I don' wanna go home."

Even after leaving the first gate out of school, there's always the challenge of getting them out through the second gate.  Surely enough they went on their way when they were assured they would be back Wednesday.

Bath Time

Daddy Quique over did it on the bubbles, but the twins did not mind at all.

Fun Outing

 The twins headed downtown this morning on the metro to the Ferry Building for a morning pastry.

 With a pastry in their backpack and apples in hand from the farmer's market the twins insist they get on the ferry boat.

 So off they went on a round trip route to Larkspur.  Here Navi points out the prison with a million dollar view, San Quentin.

 It was a great day for a boat ride.  It was sunny and the boat was not crowded.

Coming back the twins stopped at the farmer's market for lunch; gourmet, hand-made, on the spot, pizza margherita, yum.

Mud Mud Mud

 Daddy Jason hosted a mud festival for the twins.

 He gave them complete freedom and they went wild.  Daddy Quique and guests decided to be no where near the fun and had a bloody mary party inside.

Happy Birthday GreatGrandma

The Lopezjones' went to Salinas on Saturday to celebrate Navi and Ada's great grandmother's birthday.

Ada wore her dress made by AuntyJan and was very, very eager to show it to her cousin Ximena.

 All the cousins were there and everyone had tons of fun.  The kids even helped Abuelito a little in cleaning up the garden.

It was a fun afternoon for all with great food, company and a giant kareoke machine.

The More Friends The Merrier

The twins have a fun weekend coming up and they have plenty of people to enjoy it with.

Overnight

Ada and Navi are at an overnight at Nonna's house and the daddies were able to sleep in this morning.  Thanks Nonna.

Haircuts

 Ada helped out papa Jason with his haircut over the weekend.  He said she was very gentle with the clippers, "A lot better than Navi," were his words.

Red Ribbon

Congratulations to Ada for earning her red ribbon. Red Ribbon: Five Up-Faces, back swims, rollovers, and back float in good horizontal position, Pencil Jump from the deck, all without fins.ss

 Next week's swim class might be a challenge, her private swim lessons have come to an end.  Three new kids will be added, 2 girls 1 boy.  To get Ada on board she has been told that her swim class will be joined by two other princess' and she will now be a swimming princess. Hope it works!

Downtown

 Yesterday the twins had coffee with daddy Quique's friend Petr downtown. Navi's been wanting to go downtown for ever.

 After coffee and goodbyes it was off to explore.

The morning turned into a scavenger hunt for water features and fountains. The MLK Jr. water feature at the Yerba Buena Gardens was closed, but there was still some water around.

The Project

 After the twins got up from their nap daddy Quique had a project ready for them. He provided paper, scissors, glue sticks and an example of what they can make, but no verbal instructions.

 They were on their own, daddy Quique gave them complete freedom and no help.

Parties Galore

 On Sunday the twins attended a Lady Bug Release Party at a local garden center to celebrate Earth day. They did not stay long because it was really really cold on that side of town.  Also, Ada took no party in any of the games or activities, she was being really shy.

 At home where it was sunny, the twins helped work in the garden and released the insects they received as gifts from the Lady Bug Release Party. Navi enjoyed picking up worms, Ada thought they were icky and at teeth.

 Later in the afternoon it was off to Marin for a pirate birthday party.

 A business friend of papa Jason's son turned three and the twins were happy to help celebrate.

Ada and Navi both had a fun time.  Happy Birthday Lachlan.

Yummy & Wow

 Over the weekend the Lopezjones' went to brunch. The twins did okay in the restaurant. Ada didn't really eat anything and when she was ready to eat the bill had been paid and it was time to go. Hopefully she learned a lesson - eat when foods in front of you.

 To our surprise we stumbled upon a parade celebrating the life of Ceasar Chavez.

 Ada liked the Charras, she called them 'Princesas' of course.

Navi enjoyed the band and for once did not cover his ears to the loud noise.

No Shows

 Navi's swimming companions were not at swim class today, so he got a private lesson from teacher Ivan. There was lots of silly play, thus the cone on his head.

Ada saw Navi with the cone on his head so of course she convinced teacher Monika to put a cone on her head too.  Her swim buddy was a no show so another private lesson for Ada.

Navi received his skill sticker for Pencil Dive. Here he's practicing his diving skills.  This scene was right before his belly flop.
