Tooth #3

At school Navi lost his 3rd tooth. The daddies were happy that it is out as it caused some problems with certain hard foods he ate. Navi will now await the tooth fairy's visit.

New Activities

This week the twins will be trying out some new after school activities. First up is Ada, she had her first violin lesson and seemed to like it as well as her teacher.

A Birthday Party & Weekend Guest

 ZiaNonna came down for the weekend to spend some time with Ada & Navi.  She accompanied Ada to concord to celebrate Noah's 6th birthday party. Navi was not feeling well that day so he stayed home.

 The party was a Wild Kratts themed party with a lot of fun and smart activities.  Ada here wrapped her self up to represent a cocoon.

 And they bursted out to become monarch butterflies.

 In another creature activity she used chocolate frosting and pretzels to build a beaver dam.

 With her brother missing from the party Ada was a little bit shy in the beginning, but once the activities began she got comfortable and was quite happy to participate.

Gung Hay Fat Choy

The twins are back from their time in the mountains where they had a wonderful time.  Ada helped DaddyQuique fancy up some paper lanterns to place outside the house to celebrate the year of the ram. (It's a big holiday in San Francisco, the public schools are closed today)

Extra Long Weekend Getaway

Ada and Navi have been in Squaw for an extended weekend. They have been skiing with their Nonna and hanging out with their cugini.

Happy Mardi Gras

 Last week Ada and Navi's school celebrated Carnivale with costumes representative of their favorite books.

And a parade in the school yard. Navi was an apple tree and Ada was a pony.

The festivities ended with Italian treats and a reading of books from the students. All the kids of course read the books from the pictures.

Yummy Snack

Ada was impressed by her snack yesterday, she said it looked like a bunny and wanted to take a picture. There was a lapse in available fruit at the Lopejones' yesterday so walking home from school the twins got to choose a piece of fruit from the market to bring home. Ada chose a mango.

And Navi chose a cantaloupe.

Happy Birthday!

 The twins began their birthday with a special request for a Mexican Breakfast. Pan dulce.

 That afternoon after pick up they headed straight over to Corte Madera where they played with some of PapaJason and ZiaAlisa's childhood toys.

 They celebrated their birthday with a special dinner Nonna made and the Black family joined in on the fun.
