The plan this morning was to go to Ikea. Leaving the house early there was an hour to waste before the store opened, so to Emery Cove they went.
A beautiful bay trail encircles the entire cove, a wooden boardwalk on one side, and is surprisingly not crowded. It is right off the bay bridge and offers beautiful views of San Francisco.
Ada took very well to this toy. Navi enjoyed it, but not as much as Ada, she was in control of the teetering.
The slides were still a little wet from the morning dew, the sun shining beautifully. It was the swings that kept these two busy.
The twins went to a new park this morning before play group. And when daddy Quique asked them to pose, with the hill they live in in the background, this...
Kids are so strange. For months the twins would not eat anything green, except for salad sitting on their Nonna's lap, and for dinner Ada devoured all her broccoli and more.
The Triple-Time-Out. There were of course those moments when somebody had to step in and pause the 'playfulness' for a moment.
Many enjoyable walks were taken with the twins. Everyone was surprised with how well Ada & Navi did walking about.
The Lopezjones' headed up to the mountains early in the week, in time for Zia Alisa's St. Patrick's day party, it took a bit of a climb, but everyone got there eventually.
Ada was more than happy to be outside playing in the snow. Navi headed inside where there was warmth and food!
Elio welcomed the twins into his home. Ada gave Elio a few hugs and kisses.
This week the twins are hanging out with some familiar people form Toronto. Here's Ada and Francesca.
The twins could not sit still during lunch one day, luckily the booth was big enough to let them have their fun.
The twins dined al'fresco for lunch today. Daddy Quique thought about taking the kids to the zoo (which is on the beach), but with the tsunami warning in place, he thought it best to avoid places near the Pacific Ocean, not because of the tsunami itself, but because of road closures and whatever chaos accompanies it.
Ada and Navi had their first dentist appointment. A quick peek into their mouths and done!
Afterwards, the twins spent the day at papa Jason's office.
None of the computers were on, but they did not mind.
There were a lot of doggies around, here is Ada giving a kiss to Cima.
ZiaNonna tried her best to put these two to bed, as you can tell the daddies came at the right time to take over.
Ada loved hanging out with Tosha or maybe it was a front to drink from her cup with a straw.
The Lopezjones' headed to the mountains over the weekend to spend time with family. There was lots of snow and two beautiful ski days.
Meanwhile indoors, Ada reverted to being a baby again.
The sky had some clouds around, but the sun was shining. Off to the Academy of Sciences, but this time we park and walk.
Ada and Navi had total freedom to lead and go where ever they wanted to go. They know the museum well, but surprised their daddy by taking the 'usual' route.
Going back to the car, the twins got to walk through the newly renovated rhododendron garden. Ada had so much fun and for once she was the leader walking ahead of Navi.
Swim class was canceled today, some kid had an 'accident' in the pool, so daddy Quique took Ada and Navi for ice cream to make it up. They were both in their bathing suits ready to go in the pool, but we were stopped and told there would be no swimming.
They left with balloons and had such fun in the car on the way home.
