Squaw Weekend

 The Lopezjoneses headed to Squaw Valley for the Memorial Day weekend.

 They had the chance to have breakfast at the firehouse.

 And check out the trucks. Then the twins, Ave and Elio went on a 14 mile bike ride.

 Nonna put out a train for the kids to play with. Navi found it the most captivating.

 ZiaAlisa and ZioLuca hosted the Lopezjoneses and some friends for dinner one evening. Everyone got to taste ZioLuca's delicious pizza.

 But the reason for going up was to ski. There was not much snow at the bottom of the mountain.

 But up top there was just enough for a few runs. Ave had so much fun skiing with the twins.

Everyone had such a fund weekend.

La Scuola Artists & Carnival

 Ada and Navi had an art showing with displays from all the La Scuola classes.

 Navi's whale drawing was used in the announcement for the art show.

 The twins had two pieces of work displayed.

 Afterwards, Ada and Navi attended La Scuola's first Fiera (carnival), with games, food, books, and school merchandise (plus wine).

 One cool thing about the food; it was a pizza truck with all deaf employees, the awesome thing was that as you stood in line you got to learn and practice a little bit of sign-language, with visual pictures, so you can order your food. Ada and Navi had a great time playing with all their friends. They were on their own for two hours at the event, DaddyQuique was busy helping with the book sales and PapaJason was busy boozing it up with other parents.

San Francisco Delta's Soccer Game/Final Soccer Match

 On Friday Ada joined her coach and some of her soccer mates to watch a professional soccer team at Kesar Stadium in Golden Gate Park.

 It was fun and exciting. Plenty of kids running around everywhere, which Navi really enjoyed. Sadly the Delta's lost 0-3.

The next day Regazze Veloce finished off their season with their second win.

Catching Up

 The twins had a few games at Mission Playground for their last few games, not far from home. One day Navi got to be a part of Ada's game by being the... flag guy who calls the out of bound balls.

 After a game everyone went out for lunch. Ada had a fried chicken sandwich burrito.

 This season the garden produced a bounty and for the first time the swiss chard survived!

 One weekend the Lopezjoneses took a quick visit to Salinas. Marky was very happy to see his cousins.

Last weekend Navi ended his season winning 6 games losing 1.  Great job Navi and thank you Coach Gian Marco for a great season.
