Deck The Halls...

Navi awoke from his nap a little earlier thank his sister and he was anxious for her to wake up and decorate the tree.Lucky Navi, Ada woke up just as their Nonna arrived to help. They had such fun decorating, they gave their full attention to what their were doing for the first ten minutes.
Later daddy Quique had to move a few ornaments and add a little extra decorative touches with out the help of the twins.

Winter Wonderland

Before going to swim class the Lopezjones' made a stop at the Academy of Sciences to check out their winter celebrations. There were reindeer and snow, indoors. The snow was some kind of foam substance, but none the less sparked the same feeling of experiencing snow fall. Ada was not too happy about it.
Navi was not to keen on the snow either, but after a minute he wanted to play in it again. At the end of their swim lesson Navi had a fit in the pool and it escalated into a full, giant, ugly, never before seen, shouting, crying, 'no' to everything yet contradicting to what he wanted melt down all the way to the car. He calmed down by the time he got home. Kids?!?

Sachin's Birthday Party

On Monday the twins attended a classmates birthday party. Navi was in awe, a big room full of toys, toys and more toys.It took Ada about 20 minutes to 'detach' from her daddy and explore the toys, she found a favorite.
Navi had so much fun exploring every toy in that room he was everywhere.
Ada was joined by another 'princesa,' she also had a fluffy skirt like Ada, although today Ada sported a dress-shirt with stockings.
The twins had so much fun celebrating Sachin's birthday, pictured sitting in the middle of the circle. There was a fun English game, kind of like hot potato, that involved music and the opening of a multi-rapped gift, Ada ended up winning the grand prize. Ada and Navi had so much fun, not bad for a Monday.

Searching For The Perfect Tree

The day after Thanksgiving the Lopezjones' have started a family tradition of going to Huntley Mill (if the snow allows it) and cutting down a Christmas tree. Ada could not wait to get in the snow and play.
Navi hated it - actually what he disliked was wearing the snow clothes.
So he hung out in the car while everyone else went searching for a Christmas tree. How could papa Jason and Ada have missed this one. Daddy Quique thought it was perfect.
The tree was loaded up, but the fun did not end there. Driving off of Troy road in the snow was a little bit of a challenge and the twins loved it when the vehicle shook to prevent sliding, a special feature which allows the car to drive itself down a hill in the snow.
The tree was indeed perfect, all 9 feet 6 inches. There will be Christmas decorating very soon.

Happy Thanksgiving

It did snow a little one day. Ada had fun playing outside and tried her best to catch a snowflake.
Navi did not care for the snow or being outside.
The twins played a little bit of 'baseball' with Nonna. Ada enjoyed it the most and was very good at hitting the ball.
Lots of running around, noise making and chaos.
These two were full of energy and ran around everywhere, but once in a while they would take a little break and read a book.

On Thanksgiving day the twins got to help in making some pies.
Both got a turn rolling out the pie dough. Thanksgiving dinner was great, although no kid ate any turkey.

There was one for Elio too.
Thank you Nonna and Grandpa.

City Girl

Ada likes dressing up, but she turns very shy when she receives a compliment or attention.

Choo Choo

The twins headed to Sacramento to visit their ZiaNonna and see the California Railroad Museum. It was a great place for young and older.Ada had a little bit of separation issues in the beginning. Navi was going at his own pace checking out all the trains, Ada lagged behind.
There were fun interactive exhibits which one could push buttons and make trains go.
After the museum, it was off to their cugino Todd's restaurant.
The food was great and the twins had a lot of fun playing under the high table.
Ada had fun sitting next to her ZiaNonna, she got a lot of attention.
"I tired," Navi would say, but as soon as we got to the car this happened.

Siblings

Though this may look like a harmless hug, it leads into their new form of play, wrestling - and they go for the choke hold! Their new play really keeps the daddies on their toes. If it were a real match Ada would win easily.

All About Navi

The twins had some time apart for a day. Ada spent the day with papa Jason and Navi with daddy Quique. Navi went to the zoo and after made a short stop at the beach.
The time at the beach was short, it was freezing and it did not phase Navi. Ada had a fun day with Papa, she went to the Discovery Museum and had a Vietnamese sandwich for lunch with chips she was happy to say.

A Three Night Affair

For a few days Ada was on a role eating her greens; swiss chard, mixed salad greens and it all came to the end with very delicious (daddy Jason's word), and bitter, red dandelion greens. It was good while it lasted.
Navi has not touched his greens, but he has been eating some salad lately.

More Mexico

Ada enjoyed the hammocks available on the property. She laid in them and swung around.
There were moments of relaxation in Mexico. Navi was very much into his books, so when he saw papa Jason reading he grabbed his favorite book and sat next to him, Ada followed.
At one point Ada was willing to smile for the camera and had a photo session on the beach, there were some great pictures.
Here's Navi doing what he did all week. He loves the water, and refused to wear any of his fins or goggles, all new purchased for this trip.
Navi and Ada had a room to themselves and shared a big bed.
A special little guy occupied their room. A betta fish that Navi named 'Piu' (it means More in Italian). So every night the twins said goodnight to Piu.

These two loved Mexico very much. They insist to their daddies they go again. One final highlight to the trip; the twins were invited into the cockpit or the plane by the captain on our second leg of our flight home. Navi and Ada were excited and overwhelmed by all the buttons and levers, which they were allowed to push, Navi loved the one that made an alarm sound. He even got to greet daddy Quique over the intercom system. Who knew they still allowed that, thank you pilots.

Solomon Bay, Daily Activities

The twins were a bit unsure about the beach, even though it was clear and calm.

But after a day or two they were comfortable enough to get in on their own. A big plus with the beat was that the water never got deeper than 2 feet many yards into the bay.
They loved the, "playa," (beach).

They also enjoyed playing with their sand toys, easy entertainment!
Ada also enjoyed her time out of the water. She would not get in the pool.
She would find things to entertain herself with while...
Her brother would spend most of his time in the pool.
He loved jumping in, part of the pool was the perfect height for him to keep his head above water when he was on the tip of his toes.
