A Two Dollar Outing

For the cost of the metro ride daddy Quique and the twins made an outing of it. The idea was to go to Pier 39 and see the seals, but Ada had other plans about riding the train downtown. So the plan was changed to hanging out at the Embarcadero, half way to Pier 39.

First stop was the water fountain. "Wow," is what both twins said.

At the back of the fountain there was is a secret stair case that brought you right to the middle of the water works. The twins loved it.

Then it was off to the ferry building, Ada and Navi enjoyed eating fresh baked bread from the Acme Bread Company and walking checking out the quaint shops.

The last stop was at the public viewing platform at the ferry terminals. Not much was happening, it was a bit cold, but that did not stop Navi from jumping in puddles - Ada followed his every move.

Playing With Trains

Ever since the trip to Colorado the twins' interest in trains has grown. So daddy Quique bought a few extra key pieces to create a cool track.

Ada and Navi played so well together except for the many train derailments, "Uh-oh!"

Ada's Couture

Here is another great runway moment with Ada. This time she seems to get the theatrics to the runway and performs quite well. Now if only she would allow daddy Quique to fix up her.

Happy Pride!

The twins had some company over to help them celebrate Pride in San Francisco. Benji and his family were over for two nights.As was uncle Brad and the weekend celebration started with a hike at Land's End and a stop at a pebbled beach.After the hike it was time for pizza. We were seated in the 'Orgasmica' room, which we had all to ourselves, and worked out really great with impatient little ones because they could move about freely, we were also seated on the ground.

At the annual LGBT Pride parade, there were a few too many large gaps between floats so the twins and Benji's attention could not be kept on the parade. But they did have fun dancing with tio Leo at the Pride party.

The Discovery Museum

Daddy Quique asked the kids' if they wanted to go to George's house, Curious George that is. And they said of course. The Discover Museum just across the Golden Gate bridge had an exhibit on Curious George, so off the twins went.Navi's favorite thing there was the outdoor blocks. He did not really put them together to build anything, he kind of just threw himself all over the place and rolled everywhere. And Ada followed by doing the same.Before lunch the twins went on a little hike, there were some obstacles in the way.But they did just fine.

After lunch it was digging time. And the weather could not have been more perfect.

Busy Bees In Colorado

Such a pleasant trip for the daddies it was. The twins were kept busy with so many activities;

Stickers and coloring books.

Ice cream making.
Lake viewing.
Cupcake making.
Outings to parks.

Playing with a really fun dog,

Gardening.
Chasing the cuginos with the hose.

And don't forget eating, good eating!

The Rebhan Trio

Ada and Navi had so much fun on their own, here they are coloring their feet with chalk, but most of all with...

And Travis whom the twins had fun searching for every morning to wake him up.

Off To Colorado

The Lopezjones' headed off to Longmont, CO to visit the Rebhan family. The twins sported new backpacks, but Ada's backpack ended up being extra baggage for an adult to carry.ZiaNonna and Nonna met Ada and Navi at the airport to join in the fun. The plane ride was really good and the twins were as best behaved as twins could be.At arriving in Colorado and waiting for baggage the twins got a bit rambunctious so papa Jason put them in a cart cage, where Navi got his first head bump of the trip (with many more to come).

Waiting at the car rental office Ada chugged lots of water and found a comfortable spot to rest.

Comfy As One Can By

More and more now you will find the twins in just a diaper these days. Ada seems to be the leader in the no-clothes attire and Navi follows. The daddies not longer bother putting pajamas on her, she takes them off in bed, and if that's how she wants to sleep it's fine with the daddies.

Oh Sunny Days

Instead of the usual visit to the museum before swim class the Lopezjones' decided to hang out outside in the sun.
Navi had a lot of fun with this shovel contraption and even made a friend, Lucas, the kid behind him.
Oh, Navi and papa Jason got haircuts. Ada is due for one too, just her bangs - they are getting long.

Daddies On Break

Ada and Navi were last seen at Abue's house...

...picking blackberries, blueberries, mulberries, raspberries, and unripe apples (the picking of apples did not please Abue).

Il Cugino

The twins got to hang out with their cugino Elio for several days. The outings were very fun for all.

Here are all three wondering what has happened to their playground. Sadly it will be over a year and something months until it is finished.

Dinner With Friends

After a fun weekend in Sacramento the excitement continued with Zia Alisa and Elio staying with the Lopezjones'. For dinner the Black family, Nonna and Grandpa (and Sophie) came over.Navi was not big on the sweet dessert, but he had fun playing with it, a cupcake.The highlight of the night was when Navi and Ada decided to have fun with Kendra.

And Ada very much enjoyed Kendra at her level.

Navi's First Band-Aid

"Navi ouch!" is what his sister was saying. Sadly Navi closed the door on his toe...

And got his first bandage - not a bad run for a 2year 4month old.

Sacramento

The Lopezjones' headed Sacramento for an overnight to celebrate the twin's ZiaNonna's retirement party. Food, balloons, freedom to run around and ice cream, yum!
Ada had a fun time at ZiaNonna's apartment, she even got to nap on her bed.Navi enjoyed playing with her exercise machine, and was very good about not touching all of ZiaNonna's collectibles on display throughout the apartment.

Ada on the other hand was not very good at keeping her hands off things. She had 5 time-outs during the stay, Navi had none!
