Cool Show

While at the Academy of Sciences today the twins got to see some of the aquatic animals being fed. Fish was dropped into the tank and the giant fish and eels were out in a frenzy catching the fish.

Out Of Town Friends

Ada and Navi had a lot of fun this weekend with their friend Sam who came to visit from Oregon.Uncle Brad stopped by from Los Angeles.And Aunty Heather came from Albuquerque.

And the whole weekend was sunshine and rainbows.

What A Trooper

Ada and Lucy spend a lot of time together now that the gates are kept open.We think Lucy does not mind the attention because she really does not make an effort to get away.

Other times Lucy's face says, "Save Me!"

Independent Reading Time

The twins got a new bookshelf for their corner of the room and Navi took to it very well. It used to be that if you were in a different room than the twins and it was quiet - it was not a good sign. But now the daddies will find them, at times, sitting down reading.

Calling Abue

"Okay mine," is what Ada says in the beginning as she takes away the telephone from Navi. Who knows what she says after that, all that one can make out is Ciao, Abue and, "I want to talk to Abue."

Cuteness 2.0

During our outdoor part of the playgroup all the mom's, and nannies, thought Navi was so adorable wearing a fireman's cap, daddy Quique agreed.

ZiaNonna

On Sunday Nonna, ZiaNonna and her friend Yvonne came to San Francisco to have lunch with the twins. They met at a park where Ada and Navi gave ZiaNonna a bit of a scare when they climbed to the tallest structure in the playground.

Afterwards it was lunch time, Dim Sum. Ada loved the chicken feet!

Off To Salinas

The Lopezjones' headed to Salinas for an overnight. They went to celebrate Abuelito's birthday.
Everything was green an lush in the garden. Most of the fruit trees lost their flowers, but no fruit were ready. The raspberries and mulberries were ready for picking and everyone enjoyed eating them.

Ada helped herself to some huge strawberries as well.

Daddy Quique's uncle Tony was in town visiting from Mexico. Everyone was amazed how well and fast Ada took to him considering she's in a shy stage.

1.5 Hours Well Spent

Ada went with papa Jason to work to spend the day with Nonna. So daddy Quique and Navi went to the theatre. Navi's first movie Rio, and he did very well sitting quietly watching the movie.
He was also well behaved and followed great direction heading back home on the train.

Walk Walk Walk

Early in the morning the twins and daddy Quique went to Aquatic Park to hang out while they waited for a store to open . The twins are done with their plastic cups and moving on to regular glassware.
It took these two about 15 minutes to move 25 feet, but with plenty of time to waste daddy Quique was more than happy to let Ada and Navi side step their way on the rail.
Navi enjoyed watching the cable car being turned around. They both liked when the conductor rang the bells.
Going into Ghiradelli Square, Navi reached the top of the stairs first and out of no where was attacked by a little black bird. When daddy Quique ran up to comfort him the same bird got on daddy Quique's head and pecked it just as he did with Navi. The birds nest must have been very near.

Architectural Digest Eat Your Hear Out

As daddy Quique was preparing dinner he could hear Navi's occasional cry of frustration. What was bothering him? Gravity, he was trying to build a tower of trucks, but they kept coming down. He did not give up and at last he was able to complete his tower. Navi loves to build things with blocks, pillows/cushions, books, legos, dinosaurs, and pretty much anything that can stack on top of each other.

Stay In The Lines

It was time to break out the coloring books. A few scribbles on each page and done! That's how Ada colors, looks like they will be going through coloring books quite quickly.

Everybody Poops!

Ada has started on her potty training, the approach the daddies are taking is a no pressure one; just ask her throughout the day if she needs to go. After many days of only producing number 1 in the toilette, she finally made a number 2! As a prize she got two stickers on her chart, notice the poop squares to her left, a special snack and a small toy.

The Sound Of Music

Sort of... "Turno Ada," is what you hear Ada saying at the end. It's what she says everyday to annoy her daddies because she wants to do everything herself (turno = my turn). Turno Ada when she's dressing, changing diapers, getting in the car, putting on her seatbelt, preparing a salad, putting on her socks and shoes, using the potty, washing her hands, turning on lights and water faucets, taking pictures. You name it she wants to do it herself!

Catching Some Zzz's

Nap time and looking cool at the same time, way to go Navi.

Happy Birthday Great Grandma

Over the weekend the twins went to Salinas to celebrate Pete's birthday. There was a jumpy house...Tree climbing...A Marichi band...

And even some sneaking of cake.

Daddy Daughter Day

Navi went to work with papa Jason to spend the day with Nonna. Daddy Quique and Ada decided to live it up and have a mini-spa day at home.Ada took about 2 minutes to choose her nail polish at the store. She liked the colors with sparkle. Purple was her choice.

It was only fair that Ada return the favor by painting daddies nails - and toes!

Nonna

Nonna came for the day to spend some time with the twins. She went to playgroup with them and hung out with them before nap time. Ada and Navi loved seeing their Nonna.

Stow Lake

With great weather throughout the weekend the Lopezjones' went on a hike in Golden Gate Park.
There was lot's of water fowl to see some turtles and a few fish.

There was also a grand waterfall, but the twins took little notice. Their interest was the water running between the rock path.

Windy Ride

Papa Jason traded vehicles with a friend for a few days and it was a fun journey returning the car with the top down.

Ada loved the wind in her face. Navi did not show much joyful expressions during the ride. Ada was even eating the air at one point.

Over the Golden Gate Bridge.

After returning the car it was over Nonna and Grandpa's whom were caring for the twins that afternoon. Nonna took them to the mall and walk around.
