Squirmy Babies

Daddy Quique was so happy the twins could hold their own bottle, a few minutes into the feeding the wiggling started. They realized they don't have to drink their bottle in the sitting position. Ada now likes to finish her bottle standing up.

More Christmas Fun

A Christmas morning kiss.
The Abuelitas made tortillas from scratch to accompany the spicy menudo, which the kids had for breakfast and included cow stomach and tripe dubbed "wiggles" by Alexis, Ada loved it.After our Christmas breakfast we all went outside to catch some more sun of course.Paloma provided plenty of fun and entertainment. Ada loved chasing her around.
Back at home there were a few more gifts to open.
Again, the paper ended up in their mouth.

Christmas Pictures

Our holiday celebrations started at abuelita's backyard taking in the sun.The real celebrations began on Christmas Eve at abuelitas Mester's house or 'Pe-te' as the kids will one day call her, just like all the other grand kids have called her before. The kids had free range of the house, there was plenty of family to keep an eye on the twins. The twins were not shy with anyone. They were happy to be held by whomever. That's their tia Elva, or Vita as they one day will call her. Ada and Navi were at a good age to open gifts. They loved tearing at the paper.
And eating it too.

Family Outing With The Fernandez'

The day turned out nice so we all decided to go to the zoo.
Navi enjoyed looking at the alpaca in the petting zoo and was ecstatic when he got to pet a few goats.Lunch time was extra fun for the twins, the daddies let their guard down and allowed them to eat foods they normally would not eat; nachos, a hot dog, fries, and chicken nuggets. Hooray for special occasions. Oh what fun the twins had with their cousins Alex and Ben. Everyone rode the Zoo train and enjoyed it very much. The daddies enjoyed themselves watching the twins ride the train, they think they will do it again many many times.
They loved it! They were able to stand up and watch the scene at their leisure.

Hair Fancy

Ada was fascinated by her 'primas' beautiful long hair. The daddies wonder if Ada will let them keep her hair short, easy to maintain, throughout her youth.

Look What She Can Do

But who will walk first? Navi has the strength and the will to explore, with speed. But Ada has the balance and the patience to perfect it. Being good parents we will point out it's not a race - Jason's got $5 on Ada.

¡Bravo Adalina!

Yesterday Ada went from a squat to standing up, holding it for 6 seconds, all by herself.

Our First Fort

What fun the twins had in their fort.
With three entrances and a window.
It was all smiles and giggles. And curiosity of course. But in the end it had to come down, thanks Navi.
