Fun In The Snow

Ada and Navi and their cousins had a lot of fun in the snow.  They got to build snowmen, throw snowballs, go skiing with their Nonna and...

...go sledding.

This was at Troy Rd. going into Huntley Mill.

After posing for a picture they got to play a little more.

And a little more before the work began.

It was time to choose a Christmas tree. Navi, Ada and Elio got their own mini ones with the help of Gian Marco and Uncle Doug.

Gian also helped cut down the Lopezjones' tree.

And the Jones' tree.

Happy Thanksgiving!

 The Lopezjones' headed up to the mountains for the holiday weekend. It began to snow in the mountains and they hit a little bit of traffic, but once in Squaw it was a winter wonderland.

 Ave and Elio were very excited to see Ada and Navi.

 They were together the whole time and played very well together.  It's easier every year for these four to keep themselves occupied on their own, but not out of trouble.

 Thursday was the big day.

 All the adults were preparing for the feast and even Gian Marco was put to work.

 While all the young kids watched a movie. Jaxton and his cousin Khloe were there too.

 Finally the feast.  It was a very crowded Thanksgiving at the Jones' so the younger generation ate first in order to make room for all the adults.

They were also the first to get dessert; apple pie, pumpkin pie and mini-Mississippi mud pies.

Too Soon!

The twins were on their way to music class when they came upon this decorated parklet. Thanksgiving has not happened yet, but the Christmas decorations are out! Ada and Navi are excited for Thanksgiving and really super excited for Christmas.

Special Guests

 Friday night the twins had a sleep over at Nonna and Grandpa's house.  When they arrived home Jaxton and his parents were waiting for them.

 Jaxton was eager to play and hang out with Ada and Navi.

Playdates

One morning a friend of Navi and a friend of Ada came over to play for the day.  Ada and Bea stuck to themselves playing dress up downstairs. Navi and Sachin hung out upstairs playing Pokemon cards. But for lunch they all came together and enjoyed alphabet soup.

Benji's Birthday

 Ada and Navi visited Madera for the day to celebrate Benji's birthday.

 Other family were there too and a impromptu soccer game began in the front yard.

 TiaNanna read some stories and when everyone's attention was towards her...

Someone got very jealous in sharing her mom.  Happy Birthday Benji!

End Of The Season

 On Halloween day the twins had their last game of calcio. Sadly, Navi's head was not in the game this round, but he still had a lot of fun.

 Congrats Draghi Blu.

 The girls also had a fun game and played well. Congratulations Ragazze Veloce!

Ada had her moments, very long moments, but pulled through at the end of the day.

Feliz Dia De Los Muertos

Sunday November 1st began the two day celebration of The Day Of The Dead. The Lopezjones' worked to prepare an 'altar' for two very special people.

Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), is a Mexican celebration to remember and honor those who have passed away. It is a happy occasion to remember loved ones. Traditionally celebrated at grave sites, family members and friends decorate tombs with offerings/gifts, flowers, candles, food, music and spend the entire night joyfully celebrating their loved ones. An alternative to grave site celebrations is to create and altar in one's home.

PapaJason wanted to honor a dear friend he lost this year, Jeff Hensley.

Gian Marco wanted to honor his cousin Mattia Agnesina, who passed away earlier this year.
