They Are Back

The Lopezjones' made it back home Monday night. PapaJason, DaddyQuique and Ada were able to stay awake throughout the entire flight home. Leaving Munich at 4pm (local time) and arriving in SF at 7pm (local time).  The next day the twins went down to see the newly renovated lower half of Dolores Park.
The upper half was not closed, but the playground remained opened. Ada did not like the new route to the playground.
Afterwards they walked around The Mission, grabbed a snack and stopped at a few shops. Ada and Navi have been waking up at around 5am, but seem to be adjusting back to local time quite well.

La Repas! Oh La Repas!

The food in the Dordogne was incredible. The twins loved it as well, not only because their kid's fix menu included dessert, but their options most of the times were pretty good.
Even the meals at home were great.  Croissants from the baker made that morning.
Ice cream seemed to be everywhere.  Some days were hot and well behaved children sometimes got rewarded.
A few dinners were had at home, but even that was delicious. One night Ada and Navi just had bread and cheese for dinner.  Good bread and really good cheese.
Other times there were a few gem restaurants the Jones' and the Lopezjones' discovered. Some places even were built up again the rock.
Dessert was always a delight.  And Grandpa also indulged in the last course of the fixed menus.
A lot of the salads in the area the DELICIOUS! That's because they came with ducks gizzards or foie gras or both! But one time Ada found a great salad that just had some really good potatoes.
Some of the lunches at home were not bad either.  Ada and Navi would take a break from the pool and enjoy some really good break, cheese and meats. Bon appétit.

Vive Le France

Right after the twins were let out from their last day of school they went home to pack. A long tiresome flight, with breakfast, later...
 They landed in France.
Nonna and Grandpa were on the same flight to start their week long stay in the Southwest region of France, the Dordogne.
They stayed at a house with a pool and the days that it was sunny Ada and Navi had a great time in the water.
Castelnaud-Le-Chapelle was their home base to explore the beautiful area's natural wonders, castles, villages and prehistoric sites. DaddyQuique would like to mention this was 'foie gras' region, he had it every day.

Ultimo Giorno Di Scuola

The twins had their last day of school today.
There was a little ceremony, Navi hopped his way to his certificate.
Afterwards there was real gelato served.
It was very delicious and the perfect day for it, it was a hot one today.
Afterwards the twins walked to meet PapaJason for lunch.  But first DaddyQuique had to stop at a store to do a little bit of shopping.  Luckily they had arcade and pinball machines, who knew, that kept Ada and Navi busy.
Everyone had a yearning for sushi.  Yum!

Spring Recital

Navi had to dress up the other night.  He did not want to, but it was just for one night.
The twins had a school recital.  They sang and played a few instruments.
A short video of one of the songs.
Linda made it in time to catch their last act. And she joined the Lopezjones' for dinner at a Polish restaurant with a large variety of beers!

La Scuola Picnic

As the twins enter their last week of school it is time again for the La Scuola Picnic in Golden Gate Park. Navi headed straight to the juice boxes and then the food.
Ada wore her cowboy had and boots to the event.
There were several activities for the kids, such as an egg run, but for the most part all the kids ran around playing with their friends.

Afternoon Snack

The twins, again, stopped at their local pie shop for a snack.  They tried different pies and both were very happy to share with one and other.
