Things seemed a lot more fun for them with more younger kids to share the joy.
Angese was super excited for her Easter basket, but little did she know what comes next at a Mexican Easter.
Then it came for the Easter egg hunt. For Margherita, 5, and her little sister, 3, the rules of the game had to be explained, but they caught on quick. The search was on for the eggs. Both plastic, filled with candy (and one golden one with money) and egg shelled filled with confetti were hidden.
Once all the eggs were found the sharing of eggs began. A lot of the little ones had to ask and take turns cracking eggs on heads.
Afterwards, everyone found a spot and went over their candy. Marky found the golden egg.
Other were very happy with their sweets.
Grazie to Abue and Abuelito, and the rest of the Medinas for sharing their holiday with new friends/family.
