Easter 2016

 The Easter celebration in Salinas was a bit more crowded this year.  GianMarco's family came from Italy to visit him during his spring break. Margherita, Gian's niece, was happy to have Ada, Navi and Marky to play with.

 Things seemed a lot more fun for them with more younger kids to share the joy.

 

Angese was super excited for her Easter basket, but little did she know what comes next at a Mexican Easter.

 Then it came for the Easter egg hunt. For Margherita, 5, and her little sister, 3, the rules of the game had to be explained, but they caught on quick.

 The search was on for the eggs. Both plastic, filled with candy (and one golden one with money) and egg shelled filled with confetti were hidden.

 Once all the eggs were found the sharing of eggs began. A lot of the little ones had to ask and take turns cracking eggs on heads.

 Afterwards, everyone found a spot and went over their candy. Marky found the golden egg.

 Other were very happy with their sweets.

Grazie to Abue and Abuelito, and the rest of the Medinas for sharing their holiday with new friends/family.

Salinas/Easter Weekend

On Saturday Ada and Navi headed to Abue and Abuelito's house for the holiday. They can always count on Abuelito to keep them happy with treats.

 Ada and Navi also go to dye their easter eggs for the next day.  This mean of course that DaddyQuique spent the next 2 hours dying the eggs, stuffing them with confetti, and sealing them with paper.

 Later TiaLuhanna and Ada decorated the house a little. Marky was coming home the next day for Easter after spending a few days with his dad.

And when he did finally arrive... he was SO excited to see his cousins! But he wasn't the only cousin coming that day...

Jones Ski Weekend

 Ada and Navi joined Elio, Ave and Jaxton in Squaw Family for a family get together.

 There was an attempt to get a picture of all the children.  But not everyone was up for it.

 Jaxton had a wild time with all his cousins. And everyone had a great time.  There was no skiing, even thought it had snowed recently, but the slopes were much too crowded for anyone to have fun will all these kids in tow.

In the end, ZiaTosha captured a good picture of the kids.

Lopez Visit

 Abue and TiaLuhanna came to visit the Lopezjoneses over the weekend.  Abue got to spend time with the twins.

 As did TiaLuhanna who got her hair done by Ada.

 Abue and TiaLuhanna come to attend the gala fund raiser for the twins' school.  Everyone had a blast.

Rainy Days

Rain has finally arrived in the Bay Area.  The weekend was a lazy one, but all 'three kids' managed to get a little bit of exercise after the Dads designated the twins' room as the soccer zone.
