Happy Halloween

 Santa Claus and Raichu (a Pokemon) stepped out of the Lopezjones' household this evening to start their trick-or-treating. Nonna and Linda joined in on the fun.

 Neighbors are always happy to see them every year.

This tine they found a friend on the street, Chloe, and invited them over to neighbor Paul's house who was expecting them.

 The twins visited five houses and collected 'plenty' of candy to eat that evening.

 On Friday, Ada and Navi dressed up and had a costume parade at school.

There was also a dance contest.

 Ada and Navi did not really dance, but were really good at staying still when the music stopped.

 Gian also was in the spirit. His costume was last minute, but it worked.

Into The Halloween Spirit

 Yesterday after karate class there was something that stood out in the neighborhood.

Someone in that house really loves Halloween!

Super Awesome Fantastic Weekend

 A guest flew in to see the Lopezjones' on Friday and he was up for fun... and getting his hair done by Ada.

 UncleDoug also joined in.  The twins are always happy to have guest and by happy that means they never stop playing with them.

 One morning it was time for carving pumpkins.

 It's a week early from Halloween, but with Gian Marco and the twins' schedule this was the only time available.  This was Gian's first jack-o-lantern and UncleBrad can't remember the last time he carved a pumpkin.

Sadly our pumpkins were not so happy the next day.  Who knows if it was the weather or what, but...

They were put out to pasture a few days later.

The Zoo

On Friday Ada and Navi had a day off from school.  It's been a long time since they have been to the SF Zoo so DaddyQuique thought it would be a great idea to take them back there.

Here's the first thing they heard entering the zoo.

 Navi led for the first half of the visit. And decided to take a play break at the hippo exhibit.

 Then it was the playground to work up an appetite. Only once were they warned to play separately as to avoid conflict with each other.

 After lunch Ada led the group through the kid's zoo or the Exploration Zone as it's now called.

They had a great day at the zoo and cannot wait to participate in zoo camp again.

Albuquerque

 Early in the week the Lopezjones' got on a plane and headed to Albuquerque.

 The twins went there to support their 'Uncle' Heather whose mom had passed away. She was very happy to see everyone and the twins were happy to be there to make her smile. UncleBrad was there too.

 This was the second funeral they have attended, but their first (catholic) mass. Ada did pretty good and Navi did not do so well in the beginning.  Like Daddy and Papa when they were young, it took a few pinches to get Navi in order during mass.

 Ada and Navi always enjoy traveling. Even though this was a sad visit to Albuquerque Ada and Navi had fun and were happy...

Especially when you get to order chicken wings for dinner.

 At UncleHeather's uncle's house, along with her nieces the twins picked apples from a tree in the garden, played board games with family members and had a little bit of time at a park before is started to rain and then hail.

Birthday Farm Party

On Sunday Ada headed over to the east bay with a few of her girlfriends to attend a birthday party at a farm. The daddies asked her how it went and she did not really say much. Later a picture was sent of her riding a horse/pony. Perhaps seeing the picture will remind her what she did at the party.

Navi

Navi lost a front tooth last week. And his new tooth is growing in quickly.

Soccer

 Last week Navi's soccer team had very few boys to play the two games they play side by side.  Luckily Ada was done with her game and hanging out so she was recruited to help the boys and played goalie.

For some reason she turned into her shy self, but lucky for her the Draghi Blu, Navi's team, was so good that they kept the ball on the opposite side of the filed from Ada. In the second half of the game it was turned into a real soccer match with all six boys on the field and Ada their goalie.  It was the most exciting game of the season yet.

Fleet Week - The Blue Angels

 The Blue Angels are in town and the twins got a preview during their soccer practice on Thursday.

 After school Friday they quickly rushed home to get a good view of the afternoon show.

 They joined PapaJason on the terrace, it was a beautiful day with clear skies and great views of the Blue Angels.

Navi remembers some time ago he was afraid of the airshow because of the loud noise, but now he says he's okay with it.

 Somebody turned 21 today! Ada, Navi and some friends helped Gian celebrate.

Pizza and an ice cream cake.  What a treat for all.  Happy Birthday Gian!

Dinner

 The Lopezjones' went out for dinner last night.  It was an unexpected surprise to Ada and Navi and they were excited. Everyone had a great meal and Gian Marco was introduced to Cioppino (a dish invented in San Francisco by Italian Americans), he loved it!

 Everyone left full and quite content.  The walk home was beautiful.  There was a beautiful sunset, which you can't see very well in this pictures.
