Summer Camp

The twins are once again this year attending SF Zoo Camp. Now in their second and final week; they are dropped off at 9am and picked up at 4pm. In between that time they run around the zoo learning about the different animals and even get to pet some of them.

San Francisco Pride 2018

 

 The twins started their pride weekend with the annual Pink Party at their home.

A few classmates and many neighbors made the party.

Ada had a few wardrobe changes through out the evening.

In the end Ada and Navi ended their night with a large amount of candy consumed and one tummy ache.

The next morning the Lopezjoneses were ready to head downtown and watch the parade.

Linda joined the twins on the adventure that is SF Pride.

The parade was joyful and full of onlookers, lucky for Navi he know where to go to a good peek.

Lucky for them, Linda found them a spot right on the parade route so they are in reach of the freebies handed out.

Another great SF Pride!

 On the way home the twins got to ride one of the new MUNI metro trains. They were on their way to Harvey's, twins' choice, but sadly it was much too crowded and no one could wait an hour to be seated so they went home and ate left overs from the nights' previous party.

Free Time Outing

With school out, no camps until next week or any trips in the next few days the twins headed to Alameda for a little fun.

They wanted to go miniature golfing.

Navi was pretty good right from the start.

Ada needed a pick of practice and advice on technique. They had so much fun they did it again. Lucky for them it was early and it was not until the end of their second round where a large rambunctious group of 6 year olds came in.

They went to the arcade for a couple games.

Afterwards, lunch - sushi of course!

San Diego

The day after their last day of school the twins boarded a plane and headed to San Diego.

Where they met the rest of Curtis' family to celebrate his 21st birthday.

Why the kids were invited to a 21st birthday drinking getaway - who knows! But they kept busy.

And if they were not playing with Curtis, Davis or Travis they kept themselves busy.

Inside of outside a restaurant.

There were some child friendly activities besides drinking. Like visiting a battleship museum. Look closely you can spot Navi on deck.

With two dads around, they took turns in the mornings to make sure the kids were fed- as difficult as it was for them to get up.

Final Week of School

On Monday Curtis flew in from Colorado to spend a birthday week in San Francisco. When Navi first saw him he asked if he was Magnus!?! Navi was forgiven.

Later in the week La Scuola held their traditional ceremony of the students moving up to the next grade. Can you spot Navi? You should he's in the neon green!

The highlight was not the gelato this year, but instead the all girls* school rockband, The Luna Chicks.

Happy Birthday ZiaNonna

The Lopezjoneses headed to Sacramento for an overnight to celebrate a birthday. Jaxton was there too.

It was ZiaNonna's birthday and they all went out for lunch to celebrate.

Happy Birthday!

Lucky for everyone there was space where the kids could play.

School Overnight

With one week of school left Ada, Navi and their classmates were off to Marin for an overnight camp. Morning drop off was with luggage and sleeping bags.
