At The Rec

The twins got off to an early start this morning, leaving home just after 8:00am to the Eureka Valley Playground. They had it all to themselves, but the plays tructure was wet from the morning dew. And we were much to early to head inside so they had a snack and waited. Once those doors opened to the rec. centre the twins once again had to the toddler room all to themselves.
Funny enough they both gravitated to the loudest toy in there. A stand up keyboard and drum set all in one. It was pretty loud and got old very quick, according to daddy Quique.

Eating Cassoulet

Look at their new skill. Finally, less for the daddies to do.

(In the beginning of the video, Navi was trying put the cassoulet inside his tortilla. He and his sister are good at unrolling them and taking out what's inside, but this time there was nothing inside so he was probably fixing the 'problem.')

Lopez Camping Weekend

Camping once again, Navi headed off to the creek and play in the water.
Ada preferred to stay dry and play with things around camp.Navi is a true water baby. He loved swimming with his daddy in the lake.
Navi also loved food and searched it out every time.

The Big Kid Play Area

With no other kids around, the twins decided to play in the "level 3" play structure. This was high off the ground and had new challenges for them. All on their own they wend down a tube slide. Navi of course went down head first.
And they both enjoyed the BIG slides and went on them again and again.
Sadly they did not get to try the concrete slides built into the hillside, on their own that is. Daddy Quique found some card board and slid down with one kid at a time. It only looks fun.

New Skills At The Playground

At 8:00am this morning, daddy Quique and the twins had the main children's playground in Golden Gate Park all to themselves. At this playground there are three levels of play structures. In these pictures the twins played on the level 2 structure.
Having the play structures all to themselves allowed the kids to explore on their own and at their own pace.
Navi learned a new way of coming down the slide. He slid this way all the way from the top.

Fun Pictures

Ada can still pin down her big brother. No one knows when Navi will realize his own strength. He's quite strong.
Sporting bling. No mommy jewelery here, these necklaces belong to Ada.
Saving up for their first purchase. Who knows what it will be?
Uno.
Wearing daddy's hat.
Hidden toddlers.

Hiking With Friends

Over the weekend the twins' friend Noah and a friend of his, Gavin, joined them for a hike in Golden Gate Park.
An easy 15 minute hike still turned into a fun 1 hour hike. There was even a sighting of a red fox.

At The GG Playground

As the twins get older the SF playgrounds are getting to be more enjoyable for both kids and the daddies. The twins are now able to do a lot of things on their own with out hesitation.
Navi's climbing skills have, however, have surpassed that of which daddy Quique is comfortable letting him climb. But what can one do?

Colorado Visitor

The twins' cousin Travis came to visit for a couple of days. Ada really took a liking to him. Navi as well, but that might have something to do with the fact that Travis would let him play with his mobile phone.

And Now...

Miss Adalina Piave Lopezjones from San Francisco, CA. Ada is wearing a dress made in Peru and enjoys walks without holding a daddy's hand, monkey walks at the swimming pool, and eating wasabi peas.

Bad Boy Bad Boys....

The Lopezjones' took a tour of their local police station.
Ada got to see the holding cells (which were steam cleaned that morning). Notice the handcuffs on the left.
Navi got to show off his, "hold it right there," face from the squad car.
Ada preferred to just pose. Thanks SFPD.

In The Garden

The twins were helping daddy Jason with some gardening yesterday. When daddy Quique came home he found both Ada and Navi with no pants or diapers soaked and muddy. Daddy Jason said they had a lot of fun watering plants.

More Camping

Breakfast at camp was much different for the twins than their usual cream of something... Ada and Navi both enjoyed a bagel with cream cheese, lox and red onions.
They were very fascinated with the ATVs and the many dogs at camp. Here is Ada waking up from a nap.
Their Nonna had such fun watching the twins at camp and can't wait to see them out there again, hopefully with her new puppy/dog.

Fourth of July Camping

This little boy was born to camp. Navi took so well to the campground and was not much of a worry to the daddies. He did so well on his own exploring, climbing hills of snow, playing in the creek and eating - of course. It took a little time for Ada to adjust, especially since she was not feeling too well when we got there. But after some time she was having just as much fun as Navi.
Nonna surprised the twins with some beach toys; which came in quite handy with the snow at camp or to keep Navi entertained as he threw the toys in the stream and watched them float away. That stream by the way was melted snow, cold water!! The daddies did not know how the kids would handle sleeping in a tent, in their own sleeping bags. They did fantastic, Ada is in there buried somewhere under all that orange.

Off Camping

The Lopezjones' are off to camp for the 4th of July Weekend. Word is that there is still some snow at Huntley Mill so the daddies are hoping the twins can still have fun.

The twins got new camp shoes, ones that will be water friendly. Notice one pair is a bit bigger than the other. This twin's foot size is one more than the other. Can you guess who?

Navi.

Swimming

The other day daddy Quique's good friend Ying stopped by to spend some time with the twins. She got to see them swimming and took these great pictures.Ada learned how to do the monkey walk all on her own, she uses her hands to travel on the ledge of the pool with no assistance from anyone.
Navi did not perfect the monkey walk this time, but his swimming skills are building up and he showing some great paddles and kicks.
