Making it to Rosa in the middle of night, the twins went from sleeping in the car to bed in Caterian's house, their host for the next two weeks. The next morning Ada and Navi went straight to Campo Estivo (day camp), along with their cousins Francesco, Liza, Margherita and Agnese. Gia, Alberto and Andrea were away for the first week and would join them in their second week of camp.
The twins fit right in at camp. The owner remembered them from two years ago. The dads would pick up Ada and Navi after their day excursions in the area playing tourists.
Coming home they developed an easy pattern. Play a little with the cousins.
Jump in the pool and play more with the cousins.
And catch a gecko.
Gian Marco was also in Italy and after he was done with his internship he met the Lopezjoneses for happy hour and then off to some good food at an agrituristi restaurant along with his brother, sister and family.
By luck there happened to be another cousin there eating with his other side of the family and Navi and Ada decided to take care of their dog, Chico, for the evening.
The next days were simple for the twins. Attend camp, come home and jump in the pool, play with cousins.
And who knows where they would end up for dinner. One night was at Cate's sister's house, Francesca. Pizza for dinner with another cousin, Nicole.

Croatia To Italy
On the final end date of the multi-sport tour of Croatia the group was taken on an early morning guided tour of Dubrovnik (where they were told many scenes of Game of Thrones were filmed).
Some how the kids were prepped and ready to quench the street cats with water and a paper bowl in hand. They succeeded in quenching one cat's thirst. The locals found it funny.
And also our guide Ben helped quench the thirst of the kids too.
Upon saying goodbye to their trip leaders and their new friends, the Lopezjoneses had a last lunch in Croatia before heading to the airport that afternoon for their evening flight.
Landing back at Marco Polo airport, in Venice with lots of rain, they found a great pizza place for dinner. There were plenty of options for pizza - and cheap!!
Pizza dinner before heading back on the road to meet the family and where they will be staying for the rest of their trip.

Korcula To Dubrovnik
On the final ride day there was the option of riding form one side of Korcula island to the other.
DaddyQuique and the twins chose to take the option of taking a bus a short way before starting to bike. On the way they found PapaJason.
The bike ride was beautiful. And the views were amazing.
The final stop was the town of Korcula.
And the end of the biking. Here the twins said goodbye to their bikes and walked into town for lunch.
Korcula was beautiful and very manageable. One couldn't get lost and they spotted what they claimed was Marco Polo's house.
Lunch came with a very nice view. Home made pasta was on the menu.
After lunch they bid farewell to Korcula and took a short boat ride back to the mainland.
From there they took a 2 hour bus ride to Dubrovnik.
Once in their hotel the twins headed straight to the pool.
After they setttled in they headed out to walk into Old Town Dubrovnik for dinner.
It was the goodbye dinner of the tour.
The twins and Matt mainly ran around the square looking for cats and building them kitty-condos.

Biking & Kayaking
In Hvar island there was more biking through Stari Grad...
Into Jelsa with a stop for gelato.
In Stari Grad they had lunch at the home of the Lupi family. The kids played in the garden catching grasshoppers and other insects. And played 'Ninja' with Dan, one of our trip leaders.
That evening it was back to the hotel for more pool time.
And for dinner the kids were on their own with Ben, the other trip leader.
The next morning, a short boat ride to Pakleni Islands, it was the day of kayaking.
Navi was paired up with one of the trip leaders and Ada with PapaJason. The water was beautiful.
Kayaking from one island to another was terrific. Even if the kids' paddling was minimal.
Our Kayak guide brought us to one of Croatia's few sandy beaches. Again, with beautiful water.
Navi was able to build a sand castle.
You can spot Navi in bright green shorts here jumping form the rocks into the water.
After lunch in Palmizina they set sail again to Korcula Island. With a stop for some playing in the water. DaddyQuique was the first in the water, but Navi and PapaJason were the firs to jump from the top deck into the water.
All the kids had so much fun jumping in.
Ada and Navi each probably jumped form the top about 10 times.
After a 2.5 hour boat ride they arrived to Vela Luka for the night. The twins went straight to the pool. And they had their second kid only dinner in town.

The Dalmation Coast Tour
The Lopezjoneses' Backroads multi-adventure Dalmation Coast tour began with a bike ride outside of Split. The group was small and included a mom and her 10 year old, Matt.
Cycling through the mountains was breathtaking. All the kids did very well following instructions and sharing the road with cars. Having the leaders really helps the dads enjoy their bike ride.
On the first day everyone added the extra route to Pirate's View. They cycled 18.2 miles on this day and the view was worth it.
After lunch everyone was shuttles to the town of Omis and checked in for the night. Lucky for the kids there was a pool. And the views - just as amazing.
The next morning the island hopping began. Boarding a 24M, 111 year old ship they sailed to the island of Brac.
It was a hiking day which begain in the coastal town of Postira.
Once out of the town, following old sheppard trails, their hike really began in 80+ degree heat.
It was a beautiful hike through olive trees, rocks (plenty of rocks) and grape vines.
With a stop in Dol for a drink and snack the hike continued to Gazul where there was lunch waiting for everyone.
After lunch everyone boarded a high-speed boat to the other side of the island to Hvar.
Checking into their hotel they found paradise.
And these two could not wait to hit that pool - with a water slide!
Lucky for them they are spending two nights here!
