It was the twins' last exercise class and everyone participated and played well.

Busy Thursdays
Navi moved to Ada's swim class. Being summer, enrollment drops and classes are grouped. Ada's class starts a few minutes later in the morning so the twins took a little walk to see the Golden Gate Bridge before swimming.
Except for a few incidents. The video cuts out short before Navi goes after Ada.

Look Me Ximena!
Right after gymnastics this week the twins and daddy Quique headed to Salinas for an overnight.
It was peak blackberry picking time at Abue's house. Navi's pouting because he did not want his picture taken."Where's Ximena? Where's Ximena?" Ada kept asking so a phone call later Ximena came later that evening, after her baseball game, to hang out with the twins for a little while.
"I wanna show Ximena, I wanna show Ximena," is what Ada says every time she wears a dress. This time she was able to show it off to her cousin. After much running around the house and bouncing on beds it was way past bedtime so Ximena read a book to calm the mood, Navi though was in total fun/destruction mode.

Happy Pride
There was much celebration happening this weekend in San Francisco. The Dyke March took place at Dolores Park. The park was PACKED with the exception of the playground. Benji and his family made the trip up to SF again to join in the celebration.
On Sunday, the main event for the weekend Linda, or as Ada calls her, "my friend," joined the twins in the fairly easy ride downtown to watch the SF Pride parade.
After downtown it was time for lunch. Everyone hopped on a train and headed to Noe Valley for pizza.
It was a very enjoyable Pride. The twins, being a little older, watched a little bit more of the parade than last year and were entertained with all the colorful floats and people. Next year will just get better.

Downtown - Go With the Flow
The twins took a trip downtown and when they got to the, in the middle of everything yet removed, playground it was closed for repairs. But the trip did not go to waste, the ice skating rink was open, so they went in and saw the Zamboni in action. The bowling alley opened a few minutes later so bowling they went.
Ada was back and forth on weather she liked bowling or not.Navi enjoyed it. Even with the smallest bowling ball available they were a bit too heavy for them. But they were able to roll the balls down the lane and with the side beams up knocked down pins every time.
After downtown it was lunch in the Castro at Harvey's. Great way to start the SF Pride festivities.

Playing Dress Up
On Tuesday, both kids were sick so even though it was a sunny day the twins stayed indoors the whole time. Ada played dress up. She kept adding and adding clothes. This was her first outfit.
After he nap she kept dressing up and added all the clothes she can.

Camping
The twins made it up to Huntley Mill for the first weekend of camping. Elio was there to join in the fun.
All three, still, love the ATVs. It is fun watching them pretend ride. Elio was a little pushy and seemed to be the one in charge of driving.
The twins flew a kite for the first time. There was great wind at the 'Granite' site and both Ada and Navi enjoyed holding and seeing the kite fly.
Ada was the most comfortable with her kite. She walked around everywhere and could not stand still yet her kite remained in the air. Navi's attention span was limited to five minute segments.
The weekend was beautiful and Nonna eager to take the twins for a canoe ride.

Swim Class
With kids starting their summer breaks many are dropping out of many activities as they go on holidays or camps. This week the twins had each instructor all to themselves.
This allowed Ada and Navi to interact in the pool, which they have not done in a very long time.

Gymnastics
Since participating in a gymnastics class with their cugino Elio, the daddies knew these two needed to sign up for lessons.
The twins had so much fun! It was a massive space with lots to do. The twins watched the teacher do a routine which consists of 4-5 gymnasticky (is that a word?) moves and all the kids followed the routine.

Benjamin
Benji was in SF for the weekend to attend Navi and Ada's recital. All week the twins asked when Benji would be here.
Early Saturday morning the three kids got to really enjoy the playground. It's pretty empty around 8AM.
They were all at the playground the day before, in the afternoon, but it was very very crowded for them to really enjoy it.
After the recital they were treated to ice cream. Ada enjoyed rose petal ice cream. Navi chose mango with saffron. Benji chose chocolate. It was a fun weekend, Ada and Navi were a little sad to see Benji leave.

Their First Recital
Navi and Ada had a big event on Sunday, they called it Exercise Show.
After months of exercise class it was time for their debut. Both were not sure of everything around them and did not want to be on stage. So in the end 4 out of the 6 kids performed, Navi and another little girl had stage fright.
Those on stage did great. Ada's cutest moment was with her bow, she was facing the wrong way with her back at the audience.
Here's a small video daddy Quique took.
This was Navi backstage after the performance, he did not really like all the noise and commotion, maybe that's what gave him stage fright.

Cool Cats
The twins' babysitter, Linda, had a gift for them the last time she looked after them. Ada received Disney Princess sunglasses. Ada's interests include Hello Kitty, fairies, flowers, dancing and Disney Princess' (she can name quite a few of them). She thinks anyone in a gown or long dress is a princess. Maybe Ada's hobbies as she gets older will include pressing flowers and dance.
Navi got some Spiderman sunglasses. His interests are superheroes (Spiderman, Batman, Superman etc...), heavy machinery, firetrucks/ambulances, swimming and lots of acrobatic jumping (think Parkour). Hopefully a future sport for him to pursue will be gymnastics.

Finally They Meet Mr. Pickle
Saturday morning the twins planted pole beans in the garden. They were of great help to papa Jason.
Afterwards, lunch. After a month of, "I wanna eat Mr. Pickle, I wanna eat Mr. Pickle," twice a day, 4 times a week (the twins drive by Mr. Pickle's Sandwich shop on the way to and from school and exercise class) they finally got to step inside the sandwich shop and order food! These sandwiches were huge! The twins of course shared one sandwich. Ada had a pickle with her meal, she loves pickled foods.

Last Weekend
The twins went to a special exhibit at the Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park.
It was a little too scary for Navi, he covers his ears when he's frightened. The dinosaurs made plenty of noise and the boardwalk shook when a small simulated volcano erupted.Ada did not like the exhibit at all, so daddy Quique quickly observed all there was to see and made their way out.
After a little bit Navi got comfortable, but those hands kept covering his ears.
