Land's End Hike

 There was a bit of rain in the bay area and the twins wanted to get out and enjoy the rain.  By the time  the hike started the rain took a break, but there were plenty of puddles to enjoy.

 Ada had more fun than Navi walking/running through puddles.

 Unfortunately with all the jumping in puddles and giant splashes water was not kept out the rain boots.

Or mud out of one's face.  Ada and Navi had so much fun on this rainy day hike.

Happy Birthday

 Ada and Navi helped celebrate daddy Quique's birthday with a special dinner at home.

They both enjoyed all the special treats that evening - especially the cake!

Futbol: Week Two

It was a much better day for soccer this week.  The twins got into the sport and participated with the other kids.

They practiced a few soccer skills.

And made a few goals.

They had fun and can't wait for another practice next week.

"It's So Pretty"

Ada and Navi received a package through the post all they way from Colorado. They both have been studying states lately and after a few clues Ada figured out the package was from Aunty Jan.  It was a sparkly dress and Ada could not stop talking about how beautiful it was. Thank you.

Benji's Birthday Party

Benji celebrated his fifth birthday party on Saturday and he had a great party to share with everyone. 

Ada and Navi had a fun time spending time with their abuelos, but once Benji got there the fun doubled.

There were a good amount of kids there.  The boys of course, had fun in their own way, Navi is in the orange. (The music is from another party across the street)

 The party went on all night.  Ada and Navi had so much fun, but by late evening they were both super tired. Navi fell asleep two minutes after he was put down in bed.

 The best part of the party, Navi and Ada got to meet some of their new cousins, Jayden...

Weekend With The Abuelos

Navi and Ada headed to Salinas to stay with their Abuelos. Straight to the garden they went.  Navi managed to find one of two apples left on a tree.

 Ada found some flowers that she thought would be great to give to Abue.

 The one plentiful fruit in season was the persimmon. Ada had 3 that afternoon!

Election Night

 Ada got into the spirit with daddy Quique about the election.

Futbol

 The twins attended their first soccer practice today and it was a bust!

Navi was super excited about soccer until he got to the field and shut down.  Ada did not seem interested either, but something about her said she wanted to try it.

 Ada finally gave in, at the last ten minutes of practice, and ran with the team.  She was the fastest kid there.

 She took part in the high-five at the end of practice, but did not quite get the point, maybe next week.

After practice the twins received their flu shots.  Both kids CRIED! TO make them feel better they went back to an old haunt, Liver Pool Lil's where both twins finished everything on their plate.  It's been a while since they have been there, but they were recognized right away.

A Play Date

 Ada and Navi attended a play date with some of their classmates at the park on Sunday.  Lucky for Ada and her friends they were at the right place at the right time.  At the birthday party next door, their mermaid princess had just arrived and greeted Ada and her friends thinking they were part of the party. Ada had just a big smile when she came and told her daddies who she saw.

 It was a beautiful day in the park and the parents and kids were happy to be out and about. The playground was fenced in so as every parent arrived they plopped their kid inside the fenced area and went over to chat with other parents.

Sadly, none of the kids really stayed in the playground, many of them came out frequently, including Ada and Navi.  At one point the kids made a 'treno' using the chairs from the Rec. building, something they all learned at school.  It was a fund play date for both the twins and the daddies.

Special Treat

A few days before Halloween the twins received some special mail from their ZiaNonna.  Greeting cards wishing them a great Halloween and $3 cash! Papa Jason explained that you use money to make purchases of goods. So the twins will be free to spend their monies (instead of putting it in their piggy bank) as they wish, perhaps at a 99 cents store.  Grazie ZiaNonna.
