Lunar Eclipse
On Sunday night the twins had a chance to stay up past their bedtime. There was a lunar eclipse at the start of their bedtime. With a telescope and binoculars in hand they were able to see clearly the 'blood' moon as it was called by some.

Finally, Homework!
Ada and Navi came home today with a packet - homework. Luckily for the daddies instructions were included.
It all required some help or guidance of an adult. The assignments include recognizing vowels, grouping letter sounds, math (large vs. small numbers), and reading (which the daddies will have to do as they cannot read). This will be a weekly thing now.

Soccer Season Begins
Navi had his first game of the season and he was back at the Marian Green on a gorgeous day with a fantastic view of the Golden Gate bridge.
This season Navi plays a little more aggressive and goes after the ball. He scored a goal.
Something new this time around, there is a goalie during the game. All the kids took turn playing goalie.
Later in the afternoon it was time for Ada's game. All the girls on her team played really well this year.
There was a lot of running back and forth and plenty of goals scored.

The Letter
This week Navi was sent home with a letter from his teachers. A letter the daddies had to sign and Navi return it to his teachers. Navi has been having a tough week listening and following directions, at home and at school. Hopefully it's a phase that he will soon get over.

Overnight Guest
When DaddyQuique looked for the twins inside and did not see them a thought popped into DaddyQuique's head, "Tell Abuelito not to buy them popsicles because lunch is in 40 minutes." It was too late.
After the playground everyone walked to lunch. Marky was carried a few times as he was skipping his nap. Oysters and plenty of seafood was on the menu. Navi had five oyster! Five oysters less for the adults.

Labor Day Camping
Once again the Labor Day weekend brought out many family and friends to Huntley Mill.
At one dinner there were over 20 people under the age of 18!
Everyone had so much fun. The twins and some of the other kids this year around were able to play on their own without adult supervision.
Happy Labor Day!

Dinner Outing
Last week the Lopezjones', and Gian, went out to dinner for delicious fried chicken. Reservations were made ahead of time and it was all worth it. This was Gian's first taste of the scrumptious American dish and it did not disappoint. With a few drinks under their belt, the daddies agreed to get ice cream afterwards as everyone walked to the car, Ada and Navi were surprised and super excited to be getting ice cream.
