There's no trick-or-treating in Mexico, but that did not stop a bunch of grapes, a slice of pizza and a dinosaur.
There were nine doors they knocked on for treats.
Little Red Riding Hood made an appearance to hand out candy. Naivi's costume only stayed on for two doors.
Last week the twins packed their bags and headed to Mexico for the Jones Family getaway. It was a long day of flying with some fear in the air that hurricane Rina might damper the vacation.
The next morning Ada and Navi found a great place to explore with a pool.
A beach to play in, it took some time for each of them to get comfortable getting in the warm water. No hurricane in sight, or much proof that one passed by the day before.
Ada and Navi enjoy school very much. Ask them what they did at school and they will answer, 'Pasta, cereal, queso."
The teachers say they are understanding Italian and in the playground they are learning a lot of English.
Sunday morning started with classmate Aidan's 3rd birthday party. Ada and Navi enjoyed making crafts and playing with the many child friendly sports equipment.
The sun was hot and everyone greatly welcomed the ice cream cake. Navi and Ada preferred a cupcake at first until they realized the cake had ice cream.
On Sunday afternoon the twins attended a second classmates birthday party, Lara. Her party was at a bounce house space. Ada was very shy at first and followed Navi everywhere.
Navi did his own thing and explored everything on his own. He was not shy to step up and take his turn at games. Ada was too shy to take her turn at first. She eventually got comfortable and took a swing.
During meal time, Ada insisted on sitting next to Navi, but it was first come first serve at the pizza table. It was really good for her to sit away from Navi and for Navi to have a little independence.
Hanging out at Abue's house, the twins had a lot of fun climbing the fig tree, they were waiting for their cousin Ximen's baptism party.
To their surprise there was a jumpy house for them to play in.
Sadly Benji did not make it to the party, but there were plenty of other cousins to play with.
Ada's paparazzi shot! Actually she was trying on Ximena's shoes and really had fun playing with them. Abuelito was right behind her to make sure she did not fall, the shoes had a heel.
During snack time the twins awaited to participate in The Great California Shake Out, an earthquake drill performed statewide (8.6 million people participated). When the time came they seemed perplexed when everyone was down on the ground, they refused to participate. The best part of this was that there was an actual earthquake later in the day, during their nap - they did not feel it, but daddy Quique sure did! AND another earthquake in the evening, while the twins were sleeping once again.

Sunday afternoon the Lopezjones' went to a pumpkin patch in San Francisco in search of Navi and Ada's pumpkins for Halloween.
The twins were able to pick any pumpkin they liked. This was Navi's first pick.
Ada found her, "pequeño" pumpkin right away. This was Navi's third pick.
Off again to Madera for another overnight for Benji and Alexis' birthday party.
Ada, Navi and Benji had the bounce house all to them selves for two hours before the party started.
Navi and Ada both took a hit at the piñata and managed to grab a piece of candy on their own.
After the party settled down the twins and Benji had a fun time in the dirt.
They each got a good scrubbing.
With warm weather in San Francisco, it was a little hot inside the house. After the twin's nap it was time for a walk around the neighborhood.
Over the hill for ice cream. We sat down on one of the many stairs around our hill with a little surprise up in the trees.
When the twins were asked if they wanted to decorate the house for holloween they answered, "How-ween."

The twins went to visit their cousin Benji and Alexis for an overnight. Abuelita, P'ete and Paloma were there too.
