Guess Who Was In The Neighborhood

 Due cugini were in town and the weather could not have been any more perfect. After a morning at the park everyone sat outside cracking and eating walnuts.

Ada liked babysitting cugina Ave. 

Navi, Elio, and Ada always have fun when they're together.

Learning New Ways To Eat

 Living in San Francisco one is offered in array of food from different cultures. So the twins will one day have to learn to eat with chopsticks.

With trainer chopsticks, raisins and a variety of nuts they had their first try.  They both did well, but still need plenty of practice before they move on to dim sum with chopsticks.

One More Surprise

 After a birthday outing, there was a little surprise at home...

 A birthday cake of course.

 And gifts from the grandparents. A t-shirt from Zihuatanejo from Abue and Abuelito.

Look Who Turned Four!

 Ada & Navi celebrated their birthday with an outing downtown.

 Some family decided to tag a long.

 It was a fun walk downtown.  The twins had a great time showing Nonna, PapaJason, ZiaNonna, Abue, Abuelito and Linda their usual walking route downtown.

 This all lead tow the bowling alley where Noah and his family joined in on the fun.

 Afterwards, it was a walk through SoMa to the pizza parlor.  Noah brought some fun gifts for the twins to unwrap.

It was a fun start to their birthday.

MLK Hike

 The twins' school was closed Monday for a holiday and PapaJason and the twins went hiking in Marin.

 The twins enjoyed the hike and did quite well for a 1 hour 45 minute hike.

 After their hike and a picnic they got to play at Muir Beach.

They were the only ones in bathing suits, every other kid there was bundled up.  Ada and Navi had so much fun playing.

Family Fun

The twins did a great bike ride over the weekend in Golden Gate park. Afterwards there was some playtime in the playground and for lunch...? Sushi boat of course.

Some Family Stop By

 The twins had some special guests this week.  Cugino Travis was a fun one for both Ada and Navi.

 Aunty Jan is always a hit with Ada.

And of course ZiaNonna is a special one too.

Los Trampolines

 The twins attended a classmates birthday party on Sunday and some one was being very shy and in no party mood.

 But after a snack and half an hour Ada was ready to bounce.

Navi and Ada had so much fun on the trampolines, they had an entire corner to themselves and the other birthday party guests.

It was a fun day, but the one thing they were waiting for was the SF Giants themed cake, yum.

He Did It!

 Navi achieved his red ribbon today at the pool.  Everyone at the pool was so proud of him. Congratulations Navi.

As a treat they visited the new Dynamo Donuts locale in the Marina Green.  Navi chose a chocolate rose donut and Ada chose a spiced chocolate donut.

"Is Linda Coming?"

All last week Ada and Navi kept asking, "When Linda coming? Is Linda coming?" So finally over the weekend Linda came over for dinner, as a guest not as the babysitter, and the twins were very disappointed that the daddies were not leaving. So per their demand Linda came over for the evening and the daddies went out for drinks and dinner. Thank you Linda.

Finally

Before heading to the recycling center the other day Ada and Navi stopped at the Concord airport to ride their bikes.  Navi did not want to try it, but here's Ada.

Recycling Plant

 On Friday Ada and Navi joined Noah and a friend to take a tour of their local recycling plant, the Mt. Diablo Recycling Center.

Recycling trucks were coming in and out and they had to chance to check it out.

 The tour talked about all that is recycled and what is done with it. The group even got a chance to be on the floor among all the machinery and trucks.A

Getting Back Into The Routine

Gymnastics was open on Wednesday and the twins were excited to be tumbling again.  It was a great class that day, it was half it's usual size.

 Ada and Navi were back at swim class as well.  They did miss it.  Navi is working on his red ribbon, but just needs to pass one test, when swimming rolling from his tummy to his back while keeping afloat. In the picture above there is strong air being blown out onto the sidewalk, "It tickles," Ada said. School starts Monday for these two and they can not wait.

Happy New Year

The twins hosted many guests for their New Year's party.  Andrew and his baby brother James came from Monterey to celebrate.  Emilia and Nick crossed the bay bridge from Concord.  It might have been all too much for Ada, who asked to go to bed before her bed time - and actually went to bed.  Navi stayed up much later playing will all his friends.
