Hooray For Liver

Hanging out with papa Jason for the day the twins had liverwurst sandwiches for lunch...
And pasta with a liver sauce for dinner, yum, and they could not get enough. You got to feed your kids what the parents eat, luckily these two oblige.

Bust A Move

One evening, in the kitchen, while preparing dinner Navi busts out with some fancy foot work. Ada was eager to imitate, but she may need a little practice to copy Navi's moves.

Easter Fun - Part Two

The egg hunt was on the way. Ada and Navi were the first to look for their stash.They understood the concept right away, Navi even got a bit competitive by racing in front of Ada to grab easter eggs.

Some of their easter eggs had a few treats inside and so they ate.

And then they saw what the other eggs held inside and how they were used. They had such fun. (Leave it to daddy Jason and the tweens to put flour in the eggs.)After they finished what was in their basket they asked for more eggs. Which they got and cracked on many people's heads.

In the end, it was back to running around in the garden, with chocolate in one hand. They both took maybe two bites of their chocolate and moved on to tostadas.

Easter Fun - Part One

Easter Sunday was spent at Abuelita's house. Ada always has fun playing in the garden.
Benji and Navi had such fun being up to no good while papa Jason and Abuelita cleaned and peeled cactus for the bb-q.While Navi and Ada napped the party started. Everyone waited patiently for them to wake up.
And after their meal there was plenty of desserts for their choosing. They both enjoyed the strawberry cheesecake.

Before the easter egg hunt daddy Jason needed a nap to re-charge.

Climbing Monkey

Spring break is almost over and although the twins did not travel to a 'spring break' destination they had fun exploring their city. At the Eureka Valley playground Navi had such fun climbing the structure pictured. He got up there by himself and rather quickly.

At Home Petting Zoo

More and more the gates from the living room are kept open giving the twins complete freedom of the house.
Going into the rabbit room Ada and Navi always feel the need to feed the rabbits hey and clean up their little poops.

Work The Runway

Ada enjoyed playing dress up one day. All it took was a blanket, a few twists and tucks - ta dah! The only thing missing was a pair of high heel shoes, but no such thing in this house or is there?

Duck And Cover - Earthquake

Ada spent the day with her Nonna today in Corte Madera and Navi stayed with daddy Quique. At about three o'clock today Navi was awakened from his nap by an earthquake that hit the bay area. Ada apparently slept through it. Today just happens to be the anniversary of the Great 1906 San Francisco Earthquake.

Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do

After their return form a weekend at Abuelita's, Navi and Ada now sang to the tunes of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and La Araña Pequeñita (The Itsy Bitsy Spider).

Saturday Morning Farming

The Lopezjones' were off to the nursery early in the morning to purchase their spring plantings. Navi and Ada both took an interest and helped with the planting vegetables.
They both felt very proud in helping. They helped a lot, even though some help made more work for the daddies.
The afternoon was followed by an al'fresco lunch.

Hanging Out

Another sunny day, but this time Ada wanted to run around in a diaper and Navi in his pj's all morning, so it got a little late for an outing by the time daddy Quique put clothes on Ada and got Navi out of his pj's. So to the back garden to play and enjoy the sun.

A Buzz Cut

"Whoah, pelo," is what Navi was saying after his haircut (pelo = hair). He was quite excited about the missing hair and kept passing his hand over his head, he feels the difference.

Patience Is A Virtue

And this guy has no patience. Even though Navi hates washing his hands, this time he was all for it and could not wait. Maybe it's because they wash their hands on their own now with no help from any adult (well, maybe a little help).

Weekend At Abuelita's

The daddies are taking a little break and the twins are back in Salinas hanging out with Abuelita and Abuelito for the weekend. Thanks Abue!

Salinas Overnight, Part Three

In the morning, right after breakfast, it was straight to Abuelita's garden. What better toy than dirt.As the sun warmed up the day, papa Jason turned on the water sprinkler and the clothes came off, at least for Ada and Benji. Navi did not want to remove his diaper. Maybe he knew that if he got dirty he would need a bath, he strongly despises bath now.

In the end, dirty they did get. Mud was the highlight of the day.
