Mexico Highlights - Part One
The pool right off our living room. It was used daily, especially as a way to cool down.
The slide on the bigger pool right outside our hotel room door. It never seemed too crowded and both Ada and Navi were able to slide on their own.Plenty of people to play with. The twins had so much fun to have other people, beside their daddies, to entertain them.
Beach side breakfasts. The twin's top breakfast choice was cereal (sugary cereal).
Kioto Plaza, we are not sure what the relation between Zihuatanejo and Kyoto is, but there it is.
Building sand structures was a good pass time. This time around Navi did not destroy everything that was built.

Zihuatanejo, Mexico
Finally the twins can stop asking EVERY breakfast, "are we going to Mexico?"
The kids and adults are loving the private pool.
As well as the communal pool with a slide.

La Scuola Internazionale Di San Francisco
The past two days have allowed PapaJason to take the twins to school in the morning. Navi was very excited to show off the Pompei model the class has been working on. It's still a work in progress and volcano was all the rage on the ride to school.
In other news... Ada and Navi will be staying on at the Italian school to continue with their education. With the results of SF's school lottery assignment (both assigned to the same school, but only Navi was accepted into the Spanish Immersion program) it was an easy decision that they continue on.

International Guests
Kaana has had one of her busiest weekends ever. Her grandparents are in town from Japan and she's has been very happy and eager to spend as much time as she can with them. Navi and Ada were a little shy when they came over for dinner.
The twins were too shy to speak, but not to eat. Nonna also made it for dinner sans Sophie and Grandpa, there are in Huntley Mill. It was a very fun evening and the twins always enjoy hosting company - they get to stay up late.

Sunday Morning Hike
On Sunday the daddies and the twins headed south for a hike. It was a beautiful day and the views were amazing.
The hike itself was very beautiful.
At our midway point of our hike we stopped for lunch.
The spot just happened to be the decommissioned Nike Missile Defense Site. Navi was very interested about missile intercepting bad guys which was described by an informational board on the site.

Saturday Morning
DaddyQuique and the twins headed down to Mission high school, while PapaJason drove, to support Kaana and the dragon boat team in their car-wash fundraiser.
Navi had a hard time understanding the concept of a fundraiser, he left thinking one brings their car to the car-wash to get money.
After playing in the park and after lunch Navi and PapaJason walked down to the local library to check out some books. DaddyQuique and Ada decided to have an impromptu 'baking dance party.' They baked blueberry muffins and danced to music while they baked, Ada had so much fun.

A Ski Clip

Pictures From The Mountain
Thanks to ZioLuca the twins had a little introduction to skiing.
And after a day in ski school they were liking the sport/activity. They were very proud to do the bunny slopes by themselves and weave around cones.
The twins will arrive home this evening, the daddies & Kaana can't wait to hear what stories they bring with them.

Jaxton's Birthday Pary
On Saturday the Lopezjones' headed north for Jaxton's birthday party near Sacramento. Kaana did not attend as she had an important dragon boat practice, she was competing for a spot on the 'battleship' boat of the team (the fastest crew).
It was a themed birthday party with lots of yummy treats. ZiaNonna was happy to see the twins.
Nonna came down from the mountains with Elio to celebrate.
The daddies said goodbye to the twins after a few hours into the party. Ada and Navi headed back to the mountains with Nonna and Elio where they will spend several days and perhaps learning how to ski.
Happy Birthday Jaxton.

New Soccer Season
A lot more stuff happened last week. The twins discovered a new playground on Potrero Hill.
With two different play structures.
They also started the new season of soccer class along with three classmates. Navi was very excited about having Sachin next to him.
An on Friday PapaJason and DaddyQuique picked up the twins from school early for a picnic in the park with Mr. Pickle sandwiches. They had their 5 year check up at the doctors. Ada weighed in at 45 pounds and a few ounces and Navi weighed in at 49 pounds and a few ounces!!
Maybe it was the giant sandwiches they had before the doctor visit.

The Zoo
Last week was such a nice day in San Francisco. So DaddyQuique asked the twins if they wanted to do something fun. They went to the zoo.
Here the twins were in their own world playing a game semi oblivious to the things around them. DaddyQuique spotted a humming bird which they could not see, even though it was right in front of them.
It was not frightened even though Ada and Navi were really close to it.
The highlight of the zoo was the exhibit on poop. There was a really fun game where the twins raced dung beetles pushing poop up a hill.

Long Overdue Posts
The Lopezjones laptop suffered an "injury" and is no more, a new one is on order so thus the delay in postings.
Ada and Navi hosted a school mate for a play date at home.
Another day, another school mate, another play datel. Matteo lives two blocks away so the twins will be seeing much of him.

Abide came for an overnight to attend the twins' school fundraiser, Ada wished she can stay for more nights.
