Doctor's Visit

Over the weekend Lucy was not feeling to good. So she had to go to the vet, Ada wanted to accompany her. At the vet's office Ada read a cat magazine to Lucy.

Lucy is on meds, UTI, and is feeling better!

Thanksgiving

For thanksgiving the Lopezjoneses made their annual trek to Squaw Valley for Thanksgiving.

The usual crowd was there and thanks to David they were going to have another fried turkey this year.

Jaxton and the Adrianis were there and boy did they all have fun paying together.

The next morning everyone woke up to a white winter wonderland. It rained and snowed the entire time they were up there.

The twins got their ski passes early. They will be ready for the next time they are up there.

Then the big day came and like last year the kids had their own section of the table.

Ada and Navi had a little bit of everything on their place thanksgiving evening. Sadly this year because of the weather they were not able to head out to Huntley Mill to cut down a Christmas tree.

Mystery House

The Lopezjoneses headed south to Santa Clara for a few hours. PapaJason needed to to do some work an so the twins went over to tour the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose.

Navi had done the tour once before and assured everyone it would be great.

It was a great tour, they both enjoyed it and got to walk through the entire house.

Later that evening they headed out to dinner at one of Navi's friends' house. These days the sun sets earlier and earlier.

Happy Birthday Daddy

Wednesday evening the Lopezjoneses dressed up (Navi's dress up clothes is a specific pair of shorts and a t-shirt with no holes or stains) to have dinner downtown. Notice the lack of downtown view. That's not fog, it is smoke form the fires up north.

They went to Nob Hill to celebrate DaddyQuique's birthday with a special dinner at The Big Four restaurant on Nob Hill.

It's a favorite restaurant of both dads and they were happy dine there with the kids which they called the place 'fancy.'

Everyone had a wonderful time and the dads were so proud of Navi for ordering the baked oysters and steak tartare for his entree.

Salinas Escape

Saturday morning the twins' semi-finals soccer games were canceled due to the poor air quality in San Francisco. So they called Abue, asked how the air was there, and headed down to Salinas for the long weekend. The air was much better.

Ada and Navi were able to get some good time outside. They have been staying indoors all week at school and at home because of the air quality.

They enjoyed their time there.

 Sunday afternoon Abue held and asada for the family and her sisters and brother. It was a fun family get together.

The twins had so much fun playing with their cousin Marky well into the dark of night.

La Scuola Autumn Festival

La Scuola celebrated Halloween on Friday with an Autumn Moon Festival that included the usual costume parade and Freeze Dance.

Navi enjoys running around with his friends instead of dancing.

Ada did participate in the dancing.

After all the fun at school Ada and Navi's class went to Alamo Square to have a little fun with some freeze tag and dancing.

The kids had fun running around the park in their costumes.

Halloween Fun

Halloween came up fast and the Lopezjoneses weren't ready for it. The day of the twins carved their pumpkins.

Navi finished quite quickly. They were all on their own on this project.

Later Nonna showed up! She loves trick-or-treating with Ada and Navi.

DaddyQuique worked hard on the costumes, he made them in 24 hours! Ada was Material Girl Video Madonna.

Navi was a crayon. First stop trick-or-treating was across the street at our friend's Paul's apartment. Sadly Linda was busy and could not join them for the fun.

This year's Halloween was a quiet one. Only four houses gave out candy on their block, which was great since the twins are not eating candy for a year.

Neighborhood Block Party

 Once again it was that time of year for the neighborhood block party. The twins hosted again this year. It was very mellow, but plenty of kids stopped by.

They mostly played board games.

Drag Brunch

 After Ada's Saturday morning soccer game the Lopezjoneses headed down to The Castro to their local Hamburger Mary's.

For DRAG BRUNCH!

Five queens performed for an entire hour, this was the kids' second drag brunch. Ada was begging to go.

Navi was not so thrilled about the show, in fact he said he was bored.

But Ada loved it all. And tipped the girls, every one of them.

Ada can't wait for the next one!

Grown Up Party

On Friday the Lopezjoneses hosted a dinner party with 3 other La Scuola families. Ada was off at a late night movie watching of Beatlejuice and sleep over. Navi unfortunately was the only kid at the party. He did not mind. He pigged out on the appetizers, his favorite the steak tartare. He got to stay up late with a few hours of screen time - he did not mind it at all.

Another Busy Weekend

The twins had another busy weekend starting with soccer games and then hosting a double sleepover! DaddyQuique realized he did not take any pictures of the sleepover, but did get this picture of Ada's prepared breakfast for her guest, what a great host.

Later that day they had birthday party to attend to. Piratically everyone in their class was there.

No video games or screens, the party was all unstructured play time. Ada and Navi had so much fun.

Busy Saturday

Navi had a soccer game late Saturday morning in the Wester Addition/Fillmore neighborhood.

Nonna made it for Navi's game and got to hang out with Ada who did not have a game that day. She got to see Navi score a couple of goals.

 After the game they all headed into Japan Town for lunch.

They found a very unique restaurant that specializes in Japanese curry and street food. Ada had a Japanese pizza.

Later that day the Chaix's came over for dinner. Amelia and Nicholas have grown so tall they make Ada and Navi look short. Everyone had a fun time playing and eating.
