Benji and his family were in Salinas for the weekend so the Lopezjones' decided to join them.
Their prima Isabella was in town visiting from Arkansas so she came to say hello. 
The next day's outing was to the National Steinbeck Centre in Old Town Salinas.
The kids enjoyed the permanent exhibit as it was all hands on and lots to look at.
Leaving the museum we ran into a horse parade, the Salinas Rodeo was this weekend. Ada, Navi and Benji loved watching the horses dance. Ada loved the women riders dressed up in indigenous Mexican gowns and called them, "Princesas" (princess'), her new interest.
