Salinas Overnight

 Ada and Navi headed to Salinas for an overnight over the weekend. The blackberries were ready for picking.

 Abue made sure there were blackberries for her grand kids, by asking her sisters to come a day after to pick their haul.

 Then for some reason the twins wanted to dig holes. As Ada was the one with shoes Abuelito showed her how it is done.

 There was one more fruit tree reading for picking. They were not a favorite of the kids. They were these strange cherry like fruits used in Mexico to make punch.

 For dinner Abue made 7-bone steaks, who knew? DaddyQuique has no idea that cut of meat existed.

And Ada loved the picking the bone.

Navi spent much of the evening playing with a box. It's good to know his imagination is at play and he's not growing up too fast.
