A Winter Walk

The twins took their annual winter pilgrimage downtown...
To see the holiday decorations in the buildings and their lobbies. Decorations were a little bit simple this year, but there were decorations in every direction.
A stop for a mid-morning snack at a local coffee shop.
And finally their main destination, 101 California Street, for a picture in front of the giant ornaments.
And as years past they make their way to the Embarcaderos...
On their way to the playground.
After some bread, olive oil and chocolate samplings at the Ferry Building out they went to Pier 14 for a great view of the bay bridge. IT WAS FREEZING!
Lucky for DaddyQuique, he was able to be in one of the pictures!
The next stop was to see a waterfall at 1 Rincon Center. They remembered it from last year and weren't too interested, but this time they found the artifacts on display in the lobby (items dug up from when the building was built) fascinating.
Last stop in the downtown outing was to see an upside down Christmas tree at the shopping center.
