Hiking/House Addition Warming Party

With no rain in the forecast the Lopezjoneses headed south to Montara for a hike. They walked through a few working ranches to get to the start of the trail.
The sky was a little gray and there was a nip in the air, but everyone was happy to be outside and start the hike.
There were many banana slugs on the hike.
And the views got better as the hike progressed.
PapaJason spotted some wild fennel and gathered some of its seeds. The kids, especially Ada, enjoyed chewing on them - they taste just like licorice.
At the end of the trail the Lopezjoneses stopped for lunch and what a great spot it was overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
It never rained while on the hike. Afterwards it was off to Pacifica for PapaJason friend, Naomi, was hosting a party to celebrate an addition she did to her house.
Emilia and Nicholas were there and Navi enjoyed playing with them and the other kids there.
